Outsole Performance
Created to ensure more ground contact for more stability, with a design that easily sheds mud and muck to keep slipping in check.
Full Grain Leather with Waterproof Protection
Made from the same beautiful full-grain leather that made it famous in the 50’s, our UltraDry™ construction combines a moisture management lining with waterproof components for dry, long-lasting comfort and performance.
Durable Construction
Durable welted construction can be resoled as the outsole wears down over time, extending the life of the boots.
The Story Behind The Legendary Wingshooter
In 1950, Red Wing Shoes introduced boot style 854, crafted with distinctive Red Russet leather which inspired the Irish Setter name. Irish Setter became the premier boot brand for generations of hunters and workers by proving itself in the field and on the job site. Today, more than 120 years of Red Wing work boot experience, combined with the over 75-year legacy of Irish Setter outdoor footwear, result in purpose-built Irish Setter footwear for the avid hunter and modern craftsman. The Wingshooter has been an iconic boot in the line since the beginning of the brand. It started with an upland hunting boot and has expanded to mid and heavy duty work boots, all with a variety of features and options.
